40 day in Emirates Post

Thursday May 27, 2010 morning I was preparing some paper such as printing and copying some paper for the meeting. Furthermore, we have a meeting with all the managers of the branches in all the emirates in this meeting we explain for them that for three days there are a group of people will assess Emirates Post which means they will visit any branch to asses them. From this meeting we explain for the manager that they must be prepared well and we explain also for them again about the citation to explain it again for the employee in their branch. Moreover, we went to the office to work on the document which means to but every citation on separate file and each file we must put dividers and check it but, we didn’t finish our work because we went to the other meeting in this meeting me and my colleague surprised because they to a surprise for us like a small party because it was the last day. Also, Mr. Saif thanks us for our work and they give us two certificate and some gifts and they bring a cake to celebrate with us. After that we stay in the office tell 7:00 pm we help our supervisor to finish the files and some work for Sunday. In the last we told our supervisor that we will be welcome to help her in any time if she need and she was so happy to hear that. In my opinion I think that DWC must train the student for some Arabic words because more of the student doesn’t know Arabic very much and they will found some difficulties in their work. Also, they must let every student work in their major to have more experience in their work and to benefit that. In addition, DWC must teach the student a lot of programs that help them in their work because I and my colleague found some difficulties in some programs such as Photoshop.

Thursday April 29, 2010 morning my supervisor told me to do some research about the Excellence team and found good information about this topic that we can send it to all the employees to know more about the Award. After I finish my searching she told me to go to the counters and to be a mystery shopper and see it the employee took our points and improve it. In this day I feel interesting I like this job to be a mystery shopper and to let my company be better. Also, I found that some employee don’t care about their job even if they told them about their mistakes.

Thursday May 13, 2010 morning I wrote the minutes of the meeting for our visit to Al Rmool Branch. Furthermore, that the supervisor told me to a professional email to the organization for the visit. After I finish my work we went down to the inspection meeting room my supervisor and Mr. Maher and Mr. Ali was with her they was working on the document my job was to help Mr. Ali and Maher to re check the document and do some search on the internet for some topic to know more about some departments. Also, my giving them a new idea to write some information's that related to Emirates Post. In this day we do a hard job and also we stay in our work for three hours more to finish and check the document before giving the General Manager to read it.

Tuesday May 25, 2010 morning I present with Mr. Ali for the Head section a presentation about information on the field visit to the residents. This presentation was for a whole day because we were talking and explaining to them in a specific and gives them some examples. Also, we answer their questions and we share our ideas with them.

Wednesday May 26, 2010 morning we have a meeting with our excellence team in this meeting my supervisor told every group to put their work in a new file and put the dividers for every section. After finishing this meeting I went to give Ms. Raja an Award Document and let her to sign the paper that I hand her a copy of the document. Furthermore, my supervisor told me to divide and put the HR document in a new file and put the dividers because this group was busy and they can't do their file. Moreover, after I finish I went to every group in our team to ask them if they a needs extra files and if they finish their files to order the files in the excellence team office. Also, I went to Mr. Khalfan Al Suwaidi to take the organizational chart of his department and while they bring the organization chart he was taking about his study and he encourage me to continue my study in HCT because it better than other universities and colleges. In addition I went to the networking department to tell Mr. Abdulla Ibrahim that the excellence team email doesn’t work and he solves the problem. As well I went to help Mr. Maher he is a member of excellence team to finish with him his file and re check the dividers in the files. I arrive home at 4:00 pm I do a lot of different work and the nice thing that we didn’t work in our office and it nice to change the place of working.

Tuesday April 20, 2010 morning I didn’t have any work to do so, I decided to improve my Arabic typing skills. Furthermore, after I finish my typing skills I search on the internet an article about excellence team. After that my supervisor called me and gives me the excellence team folder to reorder it. The folder was very big so it takes time to finish it. In this day I don’t have a lot of work but I improve my Arabic typing skills and that was a good thing because all our work was on Arabic.

Monday May 24, 2010 morning I have two meeting with Mr, Khlfan Al suwaidi chief of inspection. In this meeting he told me about his job and how he hires this job. Moreover, I knew more about the inspection department and about his live and how he begins his work after graduate. Furthermore, I attend a meeting with Mr. Saif Al Shehi he is training manager. He talks to me about his study and his career job. This two meeting encourage me to continue my study and work in a good company and to overcome any problem.
